In the previous post I spoke about how to get started as a Jewellery Designer. I covered some technical aspects, like how to decide what to design, and more, but in this post I want to cover the creative aspects.
What do I mean by Creative Aspects, or Creativity? Creativity is what you are when you engage in the act of making something. There has to be a result. But remember the act of creation is not necessarily creating something new, something perfect, something ground breaking or even useful. Creativity is simply creating something...anything!
Being Creative is very important, in every aspect of our lives. Creativity is what makes your life fun and is what gets you excited about accomplishing something. It is how you allow yourself to be your true self. If you have fun doing it and it keeps you constantly thinking and trying to figure out a new and better way, then that is what you need to focus on because creativity is what allows us to lead a fulfilled life.
So you want to be a Jewellery Designer, great, remember this quote from "Dr. Seuss" and never stop thinking, never stop creating, and you will be a great designer and most importantly a happy one.
